Di Fara Pizza

Iconic slice that had all the right elements. Would have scored higher if the cheese wasn’t sliding off trying to eat it. It came straight out of the oven piping hot.

This should be a 10, but I am leaving it .1 short in the event that I ever run into something better — but I doubt it. Di Fara not only has a prestigious story behind it, but they have the pizza to back it up. Great charred crust, the cheese tastes fresh and it’s not too overly greasy and the sauce is perfectly balance and not overpowering. This is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. I would gladly select it as my last meal. Long live De Fara!

Thought it would be fun to do a frozen pizza review- If I ever make it here in person I will re do. 8.8 on a frozen pizza scale and yes it is the best frozen pizza I’ve had

Unreal slice. Didn’t get a pic. This shit made me emotional.

Im a little torn. The staff was awesome. And I literally got their last slice of Sicilian. But the under carriage (even after being put in the oven) was all soggy and the overall taste was meh at best. 5.5-status. BUT, I did get a regular slice too which I though was much better (7.9-8.1 type slice). That said, I can’t ignore the bad Sicilian slice. 7.2 is what I settled on. Sorry guys. :(

About as good as it gets. King of the pizza game.

So admittedly not the Bk original location. This is actually a review for the Di Fara inside of the Wonder Food Hall concept, Fairfield CT location. I had my reservations about a 12 in 1 take out restaurant concept. But for take out pizza this is about as good as it can get. Sauce packs lots of flavor. And still had some crisp even after a 15 min drive home. This as high as I could go for a takeout pizza. Easily in the 8s in the original location.

Sorry to say a huge disappointment. Dave's reviews usually spot-on. This was a fail in every category. Very greasy, floppy, salty. Definitely needs to be revisited.

Amazing! Great crisp, love the Tomato sauce, you can taste the San Marzano tomato chunks, olive oil on top adds flavor and Italian bread flower. High quality
