John's of Bleecker Street

Doesn’t get much better.

I was a little let down, given all the hype. Don't get me wrong, it's very good, but far from the best in NYC. Lacked flavor and didn't have a great crisp. High-quality ingredients and the dough while lacking enough crunch was still perfectly cooked and delicious. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

This is the Auschwitz of pizza in New York. I have never been subject to more rules in a city of no rules in my life. You gotta really really want this pizza and jump through a lot of hoops and deal with their bouncers. I suspect that once it blew up, they got notified and it used to be a great spot, but not so much anymore.

Hype is real. Fantastic pizza. Tangy, crunchy, and so much flavor in every bite. Loved it

Cheese was great, but the sauce and crust were the real winners. Sauce was the right level of sweetness. The flavor and texture of the crust was phenomenal.

8.6 pie. While the pizza was good overall, I wasn’t a huge fan of the cheese. It congealed and hardened reminding me of something you’d find on a really cheap pizza. Don’t get me wrong, I really liked the pie but I wasn’t blown away. $60 for a pie and a salad was pretty expensive even for NY. Also, I’m not sure if it was from the pepperoni but the pizza was incredibly greasy. I had Luigi’s in Brooklyn last night and the amount of grease is incomparable. I had to pat the grease with a napkin before diving into this pie.

One of my favorite places in NYC. Been going since the 1980’s. The sauce, the cheese, the crust…excellent calzones too.

Been wanting to try this classic pizza place for while and it definitely lived up to the hype. The flavor and crust were great. Plus it had an awesome old school ambience and vibe.

Absolute perfection. Hard to fathom it can get any better. So pure. I just got a regular pie (they call it Sasso). Crust was perfect. Sauce was so fresh. Cheese was impeccable. Sweet, savory, and bitter. A bit of flop, which is where the improvement could come from potentially. Lives up to the hype

What a time to be alive!! This place is phenomenal! Best pizza I’ve ever had hands down! If you have the time, nah fuck that even if you don’t have time John’s of Bleecker Street is worth the wait!! 9.6!! Enjoy!

This is pretty close to perfection. Would love to try this pizza next to Santarpios bc I cant decide which I love best. Best NY pizza I tried, hands down. I look forward to trying more in the future.
